Leonard Hastings Ainsworth

Executive Chairman

Len Ainsworth is known throughout the world-wide machine industry as having pioneered many of the major design and technical innovations incorporate in gaming machines for over 59 years.

He has long been acknowledged as the industry leader throughout Australia and is widely respected for the outstanding contribution he has made to it, especially for the contribution poker machines have made to the financial success and standing of licensed clubs. He founded the company which became the highly successful 'Aristocrat' and, despite severe international competition, was responsible for building that company up to become the second largest producer of casino style gaming machines and gaming machine systems in the world today and by far the largest in Australia.

In 1994, Len was inducted into the Australian gaming industry's 'Gaming Hall of Fame' and in 1995 he was inducted to the gaming industry's American Hall of Fame. These awards are the highest honours the world-wide gaming industry bestows upon those who have made outstanding contributions to its progress. At his 80th birthday party, he was awarded life membership of AGMMA, now known as Gaming Technologies Association (GTA).

Most recently in 2008, he was honoured with Life Membership of ClubsNSW the premier club body. Len pioneered international gaming markets in establishing in England, the United States, Europe. Asia, New Zealand and Africa. Of the many Ainsworth innovations the 5 reel revolution, the video slot maxi-liner and microprocessor control of machines have changed the gaming world. In a career that encompasses many achievements over the past 57 years, a brief list of highlights includes -

1953 Len established Aristocrat Leisure and its forerunners;
1994 Len was inducted into the Australian Gaming Hall of Fame by the Club Managers Association;
1995 Len was inducted into the US Gaming Hall of Fame along with Donald Trump and Burton Cohen. Len is still the only Australian to be honoured;
2002 Len was recognised for his extraordinary contributions to Australian Exports and received the Australian Export Heroes Award;
2008 Len was recognised for his outstanding achievement in the industry upon receiving the prestigious ClubsNSW Life Membership award;
2011 Len was recognised for his outstanding contribution to the industry upon receiving the Clubs NSW Award of Excellence;

Len's professional affiliations include -

Fellow, Australian Institute of Management
Fellow, Australian Company Directors Association
Founder, Australian Gaming Machine Manufacturers Association (AGMMA) and the Darling Harbour AGE Show.

Len's current company Ainsworth employs over 300 people and exports worldwide.

In November 2009, Len Ainsworth and Ainsworth achieved Nevada licensing, the ultimate recognition of international acceptance.

Graeme Campbell

For the past 20 years Mr Campbell has specialised in the area of liquor and hospitality including providing consultancy services to hotels and registered clubs on matters of strategic planning and financial restructuring.

Mr Campbell is a regular speaker at gaming conferences as well as providing updates to financial institutions on gaming industry developments. He is currently retained by a number of leading industry groups and major industry bodies to advise on strategic matters.

Michael Yates
Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Yates brings to the Board extensive commercial and corporate law experience in a career spanning over 30 years. Mr Yates has advised many public companies on ASX listing rules and Corporations Act requirements. He has held senior positions in major legal practices Holding Redlich, Dunhill Madden Butler and Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

In these positions Mr Yates has been involved in a number of Initial Public Offerings and public equity issues, including for Star City, Simsmetal, Sunbeam and BRL Hardy, as well as significant merger and acquisition experience. He also has extensive private equity expertise having advised over a number of year's firms such as CHAMP, one of the largest and longest established private equity fund managers in Australia.

Danny Gladstone
Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer

Danny Gladstone was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ainsworth Gaming Technology Limited on 5 February 2007.

Prior to this appointment Mr Gladstone held senior positions within the gaming industry over a successful career spaning 35 years. Until recently he was a Director of Konami Australia Pty Ltd, a position he held for ten (10) years.

Mr Gladstone is a highly respected and experienced gaming executive and an active participant in all gaming industry associations. His achievements in the industry were recognised when he was inducted into the Club Managers Association Australia (CMAA) Hall of Fame in 2000.
